Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 2026
In plain terms, and in the spirit of the FTC's endorsement guidelines: Scentd participates in affiliate programs. Some of the links on this site that send you to a retailer are affiliate links.
As an Amazon Associate, Scentd earns from qualifying purchases.
What that means for you
If you click one of our links to a retailer and make a purchase, Scentd may earn a commission from that retailer. It costs you absolutely nothing extra — you pay the same price you would have paid going to the store directly. The commission comes out of the retailer's end, not yours, and it helps us keep Scentd free to use.
What it does not mean
Commissions never influence our ratings. They don't decide which candles appear on the site, which ones show up in reviews or browse results, or how they're scored. A candle we earn nothing on is treated exactly the same as one we do. Our community's ratings — stars, hot throw, cold throw, longevity — reflect real experience with the candle, full stop.
Brands cannot pay to be featured, to raise a score, or to hide a negative review. If the money and the honesty ever conflict, the honesty wins.
A note on search links
We can't always link to an exact product page. When we can't, some buy links are search links: they take you to a retailer's search results for that candle rather than a single listing. From there you can pick the exact size, scent, or seller you want. Whether it's a direct product link or a search link, the affiliate terms above apply the same way.
